During a three-year period from 1967 to 1970,\nwhile teaching at the University of Chicago, Myers carried out a study of how\nPeruvian Agricultural University Graduates fit into the Peruvian labor\nmarket.  The study showed that a manpower\nmodel of relating education to market placement would not predict the results\nand highlighted the importance of social background in the process.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
