Study Abroad and the Migration of Human Resources.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify; white-space: normal;\">Results of a longitudinal study of these students is reported in&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify; white-space: normal;\">The Comparative Education Review.<\/em><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify; white-space: normal;\">&nbsp;The theoretical basis used to analyze this particular form of migration is presented in an article, written with Mary Jean Bowman and published in&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify; white-space: normal;\">Journal of the American Statistical Association.&nbsp;<\/em><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify; white-space: normal;\">&nbsp;In 1983 Myers wrote a report for the Ford Foundation examining its support totaling about one billion dollars (1983 prices) provided for education abroad of about 11,500 \u201cThird World\u201d nationals between 1960 and 1980.&nbsp;
