Theme 4. Going to Scale/Scaling up

The references to Myers’ writings on “going to scale” present several different ways of conceptualizing “scale”, with a preference for looking at scale as a kind of jig-saw puzzle in which scale is defined within a general framework by adding together pieces defined by various and varied ECCD programs, each adjusted to particular cultures and conditions.  This contrasts with the common vision of scale as extending as widely as possible one particular program model, assumed to be appropriate for all.
